THE CLEARING WITH KATHERINE MAY
The Mini-Break, episode 4: Bunkbeds, unexpected comedy ambitions and The Dark Crystal
I’m still in my Airbnb in London, suspended in caring mode, recording from a bunk bed. But the show must go on!
Following on from last week when I recommended getting up early to hear the dawn chorus, we find out what you all do with your early mornings, from weeding the allotment to spotting coyotes in the garden. I present my perhaps unexpected mini-break for this week along with a secret long-held ambition to be a comedy writer.

And listener Liz sends us her vision of a dream retreat, where the warm dry smell of deciduous forest in summer is the backdrop for settling down to watch The Dark Crystal by Jim Henson. I, of course, very much approve.
